ORDINAiqCE NS-925 PREZONINGA_ND ESTABLISHING DISTRICT CL~SSIFICkTION ON AMENDMENTAPPLIC~TION 624 FILED BY KENNETH V. ROHRS AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 6-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 624 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 624, filed by KENNETH Vo ROHRS proposing to prezone to the City of Santa Ana R-1 and R-4 Districts certain property previously prezoned City of Santa Ana A1-7200, and said Commission, by its Resolution 5839, has recommended APPROVkL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 624 A; and WHEREkS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on said reclassification on published notice as required by law and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: PARCEL 1: Beginning at that point where the center line of Glassell Avenue intersects the center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence westerly along the center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 84.5 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad right of way for a distance of 399.3 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 761. feet, more or less, to the center line of Lincoln Avenue; thence northerly along the said center line for a distance of 399.3 feet, more or less, to the center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence easterly along the center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 761 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, is hereby prezoned from the City of Santa Ana A1-7200 District to the City of Santa Ana R-4 District, and Sectional District Map 6-5-9 is A hereby amended to show said prezoning in accordance with Exhibit AA 624 PARCEL 2: Beginning at that point where the center line of Glassell Avenue intersects the center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence westerly along the center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 84.5 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad right of way for a distance of 399.3 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; said point being the Southeast corner of the above described Parcel 1; thence con- tinuing southerly for a distance of 260 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 761 feet, more or less, to the center line of Lincoln Avenue; thence northerly along said center line for a distance of 260 feet, more or less, to the southwesterly corner of Parcel 1 above described; thence easterly along the southerly boundary of Parcel 1 for a distance of 761 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, is hereby prezoned from the City of Santa Ana A1-7200 District to the City of Santa Ana R-1 District, and Sectional District Map 6-5-9 is hereby amended to show said prezoning in accordance with Exhibit AA 624 A.
