ORDINANCE NS-926 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON A/~ENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 625 FILED BY CALVIN <br />T. ROHRS AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />6-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 625 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 625, filed by <br />CALVIN T. ROHRS for a change in District classification from the <br />R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-5 District, and said Commission, by its <br />Resolution 5840, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification in <br />accordance with Exhibit AA 625 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />said reclassification on published notice as required by law and does <br />now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare <br />require the following amendment, and that the use under the new <br />classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of Grand Avenue <br />intersects the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence <br />Westerly along the center line of Seventeenth Street for a <br />distance of 498.5 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF <br />BEGINNING; thence continuing westerly along said center line <br />of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 150 feet, more or <br />less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 375 feet, <br />more or less; thence Easterly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a <br />distance of 150 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of Grand <br />Avenue for a distance of 375 feet, more or less, to the TRUE <br />POINT OF BEGINNING, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-5 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 6-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit Ak 625 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of July, 1968. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
