ORDINANCE NS-768 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 524, FILED BY ARTHUR <br />B. PILANT, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />4-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 524 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held apublic hearing on Amendment Application No. 524, filed by <br />ARTHUR B. PILANT for a change in District classification from the <br />P District to the C-5 District, and said Commission has recommended <br />approval of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 524 A; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround- <br />ing property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at that point where the center line of Deodar <br /> Street intersects the center line of Seventeenth Street; <br /> thence westerly along the center line of Seventeenth <br /> Street for a distance of 210.7 feet, more or less; thence <br /> northerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br /> center line of Deodar Street for a distance of 125 feet, <br /> more or less; thence easterly along a lin~ approximately <br /> parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a <br /> distance of 210.7 feet, more or less, to the center line <br /> of Deodar Street; thence southerly along the center line <br /> of Deodar Street for a distance of 125 feet, more or less, <br /> to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the P District to the C-5 District, and <br />Sectional District Map 4-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 524 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council at its regular meeting <br />held on the 4th day of January, 1965. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> I, DORIS M.
