ORDINANCE NS-776 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 530 FILED BY DAVID J. <br />AND DOLORES M. OLIVAS AND AMENDING SECTIONAL <br />DISTRICT MAP 16-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 530 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 530, filed by <br />DAVID J. and DOLORES M. OLIVAS for a change in District classification <br />from the A-1 District to the R~2 District, and said Commission has <br />recommended approval of said reclassification in accordance with <br />Exhibit AA 530 B; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of Newhope Street <br />located 1170 feet, more or less, southerly from that point <br />where 'the center line of Newhope Street intersects the <br />center line of Bolsa Avenue; thence easterly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Bolsa Avenue <br />for a distance of 190 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT <br />OF BEGINNING; thence southerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Newhope Street for a distance <br />of 145 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Bolsa Avenue <br />for a distance of 470 feet, more or less; thence northerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Newhope Street for a distance of 165 feet, more or less; <br />thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 470 feet, <br />more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-2 District, <br />and Sectional District l~ap 16-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 530 B. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: %~at this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of January, 1965. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />~1- <br /> <br /> <br />
