on the Ballot and the respective offices for which they are nominated <br />once a week for two successive weeks, at least 5 intervening days <br />between the dates of publication; the Section of the Charter of the <br />City of Santa Ana to be submitted to the voters as it is proposed to <br />be changed on one day before the Election; a synopsis of the measures <br />to be voted on once a week for two successive weeks, at least 5 inter- <br />vening days between the dates of publication; a notice that copies of <br />the Section of the Charter of the City of Santa Aha proposed to be <br />amended at said Election may be obtained in the office of the Clerk <br />of the Council each day until the day of the Election; and a notice <br />of election officers and polling places for one time. <br /> <br /> SECTION 6: 'i~e Clerk of the Council shall prepare and cause <br />to be printed official ballots and election supplies necessary for the <br />holding of said Election as required by law, and sample ballots, <br />polling place cards and a pamphlet of propositions to be submitted and <br />the Section of the Charter of the City of Santa Ana proposed to be <br />amended showing the proposed changes, and shall provide for the mailing <br />of the same to each registered elector within the City, and shalln~il <br />sample ballots and polling place cards to those electors in the Santa <br />Ana School Districts but outside of the City. <br /> <br /> SECTION 7: '~hat said General Municipal Election is held to <br />vote upon propositions submitted at said Election and to fill the <br />offices for the terms as follows: <br /> <br />ae <br /> <br />Five menfoers of the City Council to be nominated from <br />Wards 1, 3, 5, 6, and 7 and elected by the electors of <br />the City at large, the term of each to begin on <br />April 13, 1965, and to hold office until the second <br />Tuesday in April, 1969, except that the councilman <br />nominated from Ward 6 shall hold office for a short term <br />of two years, that is, until the second Tuesday of April, <br />1967. <br /> <br />%~ree members of the Board of Education to be elected at <br />large, the term of office of each to begin on April 13, <br />1965, and to hold office until the second Tuesday in <br />April, 1969. <br /> <br /> SECTION 8: The Clerk of the Council shall cause this Ordinance <br />to be published once within 15 days of the date of its adoption.
