ORDINANCE NS-790 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 536 FILED BY RICHARD <br />A. MEREDITH AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />5-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 536 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Cc~mission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 536, filed by <br />RICHARD A. MEREDITH for a change in District classification from the <br />R-4 District to the 60-R1-7200 District, and said Commission has <br />recommended approval of said reclassification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of Santa Clara Avenue <br />which is located 1160.9 feet, more or less, westerly from that <br />point where the center line of Santa Clara Avenue intersects <br />the center line of Tustin Avenue; thence southerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue for <br />a distance of 727 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a <br />line approximately parallel to the center line of Santa Clara <br />Avenue for a distance of 131.4 feet, more or less; thence <br />southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br />of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 150 feet, more or less; thence <br />easterly along a line approximately parallel to~%e center line <br />of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 135 feet, more or less; <br />thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 435.1 feet, more <br />or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of <br />664.6 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approxi- <br />mately parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a <br />distance Of 1099.8 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a <br />line approximately parallel to the center line of Santa Clara <br />Avenue for a distance of 120.7 feet, more or less; thence <br />northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br />of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 212 feet, more or less, to <br />the center line of Santa Clara Avenue; thence easterly along <br />the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 544 feet, <br />more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-4 District to the 60-R1-7200 District <br />and Sectional District Map 5-5-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 536 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of April, 1965. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />C'r.~K OF TI4~ COUNCTL <br /> <br /> <br />
