ORDINANCE NS-798 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON ~E~DlviENT APPLICATION HO. 538 FILED BY LIDO <br />CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION AND ~NDI~G SECTIONAL <br />DISTRICT MAP 4-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 538 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 538, filed b~ <br />LIDO CONSTRUCTION CORPORA'~IO~ for a change in District classification <br />fr~a the R-4 District to the R-1 District, and said Comn~ission has <br />reco~%ended APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with <br />Exhibit 538 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require the following amen~nent and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to bhe surrounding <br />property; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA Ai~A DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the center line of Santa Clara Avenue <br /> located 330 feet, more or less, easterly from that point where <br /> the center line of Santa Clara Avenue intersects the center line <br /> of Tustin Avenue; thence northerly along a line approximately <br /> parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of <br /> 660 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately <br /> parallel to the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance <br /> of 990.3 feet, more or less, to the westerly right of way line of <br /> the Newport Freeway; thence southerly along said right of way line <br /> for a distance of 574.6 feet, more or less; thence southwesterly <br /> along the northerly right of way line of the Newport Freeway off- <br /> ramp for a distance of 564.8 feet, more or less; thence sout~nerly <br /> along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin <br /> Avenue for a distance of 50 feet, more or less; thence westerly <br /> along the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of <br /> 426.9 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-4 District to the R-1 District, and <br />Sectional District Map 4-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 538 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aaa at its regular meeting held on the 3~ATTEST: ~ '~ ![k~ .day of M/~y, 1/j65yo~ <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> I, DORIS M.
