ORDINANCE NS-809 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 549 INITIATED. BY THE <br />PLANNING C~wLISSION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTItlCT <br />MAP 7-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 549 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Cc~m~ssion has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 549, initiatedby <br />the Planning Commission for a change in District classification from <br />the R-3 District to the C-5 District, and said Commission has recom- <br />mended approval of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit <br />AA 549 A~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />prolmerty~ <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at that ~oint where the center line of Seventeenth <br /> Street intersects the center line of Fairmont Street as it <br /> exists south of Seventeenth Street~ thence westerly along the <br /> center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 142 feet, <br /> more or less, to the center line of an alley~ thence southerly <br /> along the center line of said alley and along a line approxi- <br /> mately parallel to the center line of Fairmont Street for a <br /> distance of 173.7 feet, more or less~ thence westerly along a <br /> line appreximately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth <br /> Street and along the center line of said alley for a distance <br /> of 142 feet, more or less, to the center line of Fairmont <br /> Street~ thence northerly along the center line of Fairmont <br /> Street for a distance of 173.7 feet, more or less, to the <br /> center line of Seventeenth Street and the point of beginning, <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the C-5 District, and <br />Sectional DistrictMap 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 549 A. <br /> SECTION 2= That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br />~EST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> °F <br />comfy oF ss <br />CITY OF ~A~TA ANA ) <br /> I, DORIS M.
