ORDINANCE NS-813 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 554 FILED BY F~ANK J. GELINAS FOR THE SANTA ANA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAPS 7-5-9 AND 8-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 554 B) WHEREAS, the Planning C~mLLission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 554, filed by Frank J. Gelinas on behalf of the SANTA ANA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE for a change in District classifications frc~ the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the P District, and said Cc~mission, by its Resolution 5738, has recommended APPROVAL of reclassification of the subject property from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the LP District in accordance with Exhibit AA 554 B; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does not find that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point on the center line of Fourth Street located 174 feet, more or less, easterly fr~n that point where said center line intersects the center line of Grand Avenue; thence easterly along the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 453.5 feet, more or less, to the center line of McClay Street as McClay Street exists north of Fourth Street; thence northerly along the center line of McClay Street for a distance of 161.2 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 604 feet, more or less, to the center line of Eastside Avenue; thence northerly along the center line of Eastside Avenue for a distance of 29.3 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 110 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Eastside Avenue for a distance of 27.3 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 210 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Eastside Avenue for a distance of 33.8 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 23 feet, more or less; thence northerly for a distance of 24 feet, more or less, to the center line of Fifth Street; thence easterly along the center lane of Fifth Street for a distance of 270 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Lyon Street for a distance of 150 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 402.9 feet, more or less, to the westerly right of way line of the Santa Ana Freeway; thence southeasterly along the westerly right of way line of the Santa Ans Freeway for a distance of 357.7 feet, more or less; thence southerly continuing along said Freeway right of way line for a distance of 105.7 feet, more or less, to the center line of Fourth Street; thence easterly along the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 47.4 feet, more or less, to the center line of Mabury Street; thence southerly along the center line of Mabury Street for a distance of 234 feet, more or less, to the center line of an alley; thence westerly along the center line of said alley for a distance of 957.5 feet, more or less, to the center line of Wright Street; thence northerly along the center line of Wright Street for a distance of 56 feet, more or -1-
