ORDINANCE NS-821 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 559, FILED BY R. J. AND SYLVIA D. BERRYw AND AMENDING SECTION2tL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 559 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 559, filed by R. J. BERRY and SYLVIA D. BEBRY for a change in District classification from the R-1 District to the C-1 District, and said Commission has recommended approval in accordance with Exhibit 559-A; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding area. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITYOF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN A~ FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa And, County of Orange, State of California, described as= Beginning at thst point where the center line of Bolsa Avenue intersects westerly boundary line of the City of Santa Ana; thence northerly along said westerly boundary line for a distance of 225 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approxi- mately parallel to the center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 135 feet, more or less, to the center line of Cooper Street; thence southerly along the center line of Cooper Street for a distance of 225 feet, more or less, to the center line of Bolsa Avenue; thence westerly along the center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 135 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-1 District, and Sectional DistrictMap 8-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 559 A. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
