ORDINANCE NS-829 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT A~PLICATION NO. 564, FILED BY DORA <br />MARTHA NEWCOMB, AND AMENDING S~CTIONAL DISTRICT <br />MAP 5-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA564 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 564, filed by <br />DORA MART~A NEWCOMB, for a change in District classification from the <br />A-1 District to the C-5 District, and said Commission has rec~,~ended <br />reclassification from the A-1 District to the LP and C-5 Districts in <br />accordance with Exhibit 564-B; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classifications will not be detr/mental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1: <br /> Beginning at a point on the center line of Santa Clara Avenue <br /> located 365 feet, more or less, westerly from that point where <br /> said center line intersects the center line of Tustin Avenue; <br /> thence westerly along the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for <br /> a distance of 371.9 feet, more or less; thence northerly along <br /> a line approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue <br /> for a distance of 658.2 feet, more or less; thence easterly along <br /> a line approximately parallel to the center line of Santa Clara <br /> Avenue for a distance of 369.5 feet, more or less; thence southerly <br /> along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin <br /> Avenue for a distance of 658.2 feet, more or less, to the center <br /> line of Santa Clara Avenue and the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the LP District, and <br />Sectional District Map 5-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 564 B. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 2: <br /> Beginning at a point on the center line of Tustin Avenue located <br /> 185 feet, more or less, northerly from that point where said center <br /> line intersects the center line of Santa Clara Avenue; thence <br /> westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br /> of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 365 feet, more or less, <br /> to the easterly boundary line of Parcel 1 hereinabo~e described; <br /> thence northerly along said easterly boundary line of Parcel 1 <br /> for a distance of 473.1 feet, more or less; thence easterly along <br /> a line approximately parallel to the center line of Santa Clara <br /> Avenue for a distance of 365 feet, more or less, to the center <br /> line of Tustin Avenue; thence southerly along the center line of <br /> Tustin Avenue for a distance of 473.1 feet, more or less, to the <br /> point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the C-5 District, and <br />Sectional District Map 5-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 564 B. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
