ORDINANCE NS-832 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 567, FILED BY BRUCE <br />GELKER, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT i~P 17-5-9 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 567 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 567, filed by <br />BRUCE GELKER for a change in District classification from the R-3 <br />District to the C-2 District, and said Commission has recommended <br />APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit 567 A; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: 'i91at the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the center line of Lyon Street located <br />311 feet, more or less, southerly from that point where the center <br />line of Lyon Street intersects the center line of First Street; <br />thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of First Street for a distance of 265 feet, more or less; <br />thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of Lyon Street for a distance of 150 feet, more or less; thence <br />easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />First Street for a distance of 265 feet, more or less, to the center <br />line of Lyon Street; thence southerly along the center line of Lyon <br />Street for a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to the point of <br />beginning, <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the C-2 District, and <br />Sectional District Map 17-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 567 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: ~fhat this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />at its regular meeting held on the 6th ~a~ of December, %965. <br />ATTEST: /~ <br /> [ '~ MAYOI~ ' I ~ <br />CLER OF COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
