ORDINANCE NS-836 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 577 FILED BY RUSSELL <br />ROHRS AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 577 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after public hearing on <br />notice, has recommended approval of reclassification of property, <br />herein described, from the R-1 District to the C-5 and R-lB Districts <br />on Amendment Application No. 577, filed by RUSSELL ROHRS; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing, on <br />notice, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the new <br />classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />parcel 1: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the center line of Seventeenth Street <br /> located 2203.6 feet, more or less, westerly from that point where <br /> the center line of Seventeenth Street intersects the center line <br /> of Tustin Avenue; thence easterly along the center line of <br /> Seventeenth Street for a distance of 727.6 feet, more or less, to <br /> the proposed center line of an unnamed street; thence southerly <br /> along said proposed center line for a distance of 544.8 feet, more <br /> or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to <br /> the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 728.6 feet, <br /> more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel <br /> to the proposed center line of said unnamed street for a distance <br /> of 546.1 feet, more or less, to the center line of Seventeenth <br /> Street and the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District, and <br />Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 577 B. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Parcel 2: <br /> Beginning at the southwest corner of Parcel 1, hereinabove <br /> described, said point being located 546.1 feet, more or less, <br /> southerly from the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence <br /> easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br /> of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 728.6 feet, more or less, <br /> to the proposed center line of said unnamed street; thence <br /> southerly along said proposed center line for a distance of <br /> 100 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately <br /> parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance <br /> of 728.6 feet, more or less; thence northerly for a distance of <br /> 100 feet, more or less, to the southwest corner of Parcel 1, <br /> hereinabove described, and the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-lB District, <br />and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 577 B. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
