ORDINANCE NS-837 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 573 INITIATED BY THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT <br />MAP 7-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 573 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 573, initiated by <br />the Planning Commission for a change in District classification from <br />the C-2 District to the M-1 District, and said Commission has recom- <br />mended approval of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit <br />573 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public 'necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding area. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the center line of First Street located <br /> 180 feet, more or less, westerly from that point where said center <br /> line intersects the center line of Hathaway Street; thence northerly <br /> along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Hathaway <br /> Street for a distance of 158 feet, more or less; thence easterly <br /> along a line approximately parallel to the center line of First <br /> Street for a distance of 75 feet, more or less; thence southerly <br /> along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Hathaway <br /> Street for a distance of 158 feet, more or less, to the center line <br /> of First Street; thence westerly along the center line of First <br /> Street for a distance of 75 feet, more or less, to the point of <br /> beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the C-2 District to the M-1 District and <br />Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 573 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take 'effect thirty days <br />frown and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of March, 1966. <br /> <br /> , <br /> 0F COUNCZL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> I, DORIS M.
