ORDINANCE NS-847 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 585, FILED BY CHLOE M. <br />STATON, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 16-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 585 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 585, filed by <br />CHLOE M. STATON, for a change in District classifications from the <br />C-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-2 District, and said Commission has <br />recommended approval of said reclassification in accordance with <br />Exhibit 585 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State Of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at that point where the center line of Newhope Street <br /> intersects the center line of Bolsa Avenue; thence easterly along <br /> the center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 170 feet, more <br /> or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to <br /> the center line of Newhope Street for a distance of 290.4 feet, <br /> more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel <br /> to the center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 170 feet, <br /> more or less, to the center line of Newhope Street; thence <br /> northerly along the center line of Newhope Street for a distance <br /> of 290.4 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the C-1 and R-2 Districts to the C~2 <br />District, and Sectional District Map 16-5-10 is hereby amended to <br />show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 585 A. <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the l~th day of May, 1966. <br /> <br />DORIS M.
