ORDINANCE NS-849 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 589, FILED BY KENNETH <br />AND WILMA LOWERY, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT <br />MAP 23-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 589 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Con~ission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 589, filed by <br />KENNETH and WILMA LOWERY for a change in District classification <br />from the R-2 District to the C-5 District, and said Co~unission found <br />the request consistent with past zoning policy in the area and <br />recommended approval in accordance with Exhibit 589 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under <br />the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding area. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, TH~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of Edinger Avenue located <br />312.1 feet, more or less, westerly from that point where said <br />center line intersects the center line of Greenville Street; thence <br />southerly for a distance of 141 feet, more or less; thence westerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Edinger <br />Avenue for a distance of 135 feet, more or less; thence northerly <br />for a distance of 141 feet, more or less, to the center line of <br />Edinger Avenue; thence easterly along the center line of Edinger <br />Avenue for a distance of 135 feet, more or less, to the point of <br />beginning, <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-5 District, and <br />Sectional District Map 23-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 589 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance will take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 6~h day of June, 1966. <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTAANA ) <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
