ORDINANCE NS-858 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
<br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 594, FILED BY T. L. DUQUE,
<br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAPS 25-5-10 AND
<br />36-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 594 C)
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
<br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 594, filed by
<br />T. L. DUQUE for a change in District classification from the A-1
<br />District to the R-i, C-5, C-4, CR, and LM Districts, and said
<br />Commission, by its Resolution 5785, has recommended approval of
<br />said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit 594 C; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
<br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
<br />general welfare require the following amendments and that the use under
<br />the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding
<br />property;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
<br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
<br />County of Orange, State of California, described as:

<br />PARCEL 1:

<br />Beginning at a point on the center line of Sunflower
<br />Avenue, said point being located 202 feet westerly, more
<br />or less, from the center line of Main Street; thence
<br />westerly along the center line of Sunflower Avenue for a
<br />distance of 2,388.5 feet, more or less, to the easterly
<br />right of way line of the orange County Flood Control
<br />Channel; thence northerly along a line approximately
<br />parallel to the center line of Main Street, for a distance
<br />of 300 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line
<br />approximately parallel to the center line of Sunflower
<br />Avenue for a distance of 600 feet, more or less; thence
<br />northerly along a line approximately parallel to the
<br />center line of Main Street, for a distance of 726 feet,
<br />more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately
<br />parallel to the center line of Sunflower Avenue for a dis-
<br />tance of 600 feet, more or less, to the easterly boundary
<br />of the Orange County Flood Control Channel; thence northerly
<br />along the easterly boundary of said Flood Control Channel

<br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
<br />Talbert Avenue for a distance of 550 feet, more or less;
<br />thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the
<br />center line of Main Street for a distance of 792 feet, more
<br />or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel
<br />to the center line of Talbert Avenue for a distance of 550
<br />feet, more or less, to the easterly boundary of the Orange
<br />County Flood Control Channel; thence northerly along a line
<br />approximately parallel to the center line of Main Street
<br />for a distance of 692.7 feet, more or less, to the
<br />Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; thence northeasterly
<br />along said Pacific Electric Railroad right of way for a
<br />distance of 1,044 feet, more or less; thence southeasterly
<br />and easterly for a distance of 1,114.4 feet, more or less;
<br />thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the
<br />center line of Main Street for a distance of 3,850.2 feet,
<br />more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately
<br />parallel to the center line of Sunflower Avenue for a
<br />distance of 572 feet, more or less, to the center line of
<br />Main Street; thence southerly along the center line of Main
<br />Street for a distance of 1,267.9 feet, more or less; thence
