ORDINANCE NS-861 AMENDING SECTION 3Z80 <br />OF PART 8, CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE III OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO AMEND AND <br />RE-ESTABLISH SPEED LIMITS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 3280 of Part 8, Chapter 2, Article I11 of the <br />Santa Aha Municipal Code shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 3280. Prima Facie Speed Limits Established. <br /> <br /> The Department of Public Works, on the basis of an engineering and <br />traffic survey, has determined that in some instances speeds greater than those <br />established by Section 23352 of the Vehicle Code would be reasonable and safe <br />upon certain streets in the City of Santa Aha and would facilitate the orderly <br />movement of vehicular traffic, and in other instances that the prima facie speed <br />limit should be reduced.
