ORDINANCE NS-867 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFI- <br />CATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 595, <br />INITIATED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION, AND <br />AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 11-5-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 595 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Conunission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 595, initiated by <br />the Planning Conunission for a change in district classification from <br />the R-2 District to the C-5, and said Commission by its Resolution <br />5796 has recommended approval of said reclassification in accordance <br />with Exhibit AA 595 A, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround- <br />ing property; · <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of Eighth Street <br />located 157 feet, more or less, westerly from that point <br />where said center line intersects the center line of <br />Bristol Street; thence southerly along a line approxi- <br />mately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for <br />a distance of 114.2 feet, more or less; thence westerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br />of Eighth Street for a distance of 25.4 feet, more or <br />less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of <br />114.2 feet, more or less, to the center line of Eighth <br />Street; thence easterly along the center line of Eighth <br />Street for a distance of 25.4 feet, more or less, to the <br />point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-5 District and <br />Sectional District Map 11-5-10 is hereby amended to show said re- <br />classification in accordance with Exhibit AA 595 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of March, 1967. <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) Ss <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
