ORDINANCE NS-869 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFI- <br />CATION ON AMENDMENTAPPLICATION NO. 597 <br />FILED BY THE BOARD OF EDUCATION, AND AMENDING <br />SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 25-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 597 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning C~L,ission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 597, filed by <br />the Board of Education for a change in district classification from <br />the M-1 District to the C-2, and said Commission by its Resolution <br />5800 has recommended approval of said reclassification in accordance <br />with Exhibit AA 597 A, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround- <br />ing property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point on the center line of Bristol Street <br />where said center line intersects the center line of <br />Segerstrom Avenue; thence northerly along the center line <br />of Bristol Street for a distance of 210.9 feet, more or <br />less, to the center line of San Lorenzo Avenue; thence east- <br />erly along the center line of San Lorenzo Avenue for a dis- <br />tance of 510.2 feet, more or less; thence southeasterly for <br />a distance of 42 feet, more or less, to the center line of <br />Segerstrom Avenue; thence southwesterly along the center <br />line of Segerstrom Avenue for a distance of 568.8 feet, <br />more or less, to the center line of Bristol Street and the <br />point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the M-1 District to the C-2 District, and <br />Sectional District Map 25-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 597 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of March, 1967. <br /> <br />CL~RK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />ss <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
