ORDINANCE NS-876 AMENDING ORDINANCE NS-870 TO CORRECT AN ERROR CONTAINED THEREIN WHEREAS, Ordinance NS-870 was heretofore adopted by this City Council on March 6, 1967, to change District classification on Amendment Application No. 598 filed by the Board of Education and Amending Sectional District Map 25-5-10 (Exhibit AA-598A); and WHEREAS, in the enactment of said Ordinance an error occurred requiring an amendment thereto; NOW, THEREFOP~, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That Ordinance NS-870 is hereby amended to read as follows: "WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Applica- tion No. 598, filed by the Board of Education for a change in district classification from the M-1 District to the CR, and said Commission by its Resolution 5799 has recommended approval of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 598 A, and "WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround- ing property; "NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: "SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at that point where the center line of Bristol Street intersects the northerly right of way line of the Pacific Electric Railroad right of way; thence northerly along the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 1,250 feet, more or less, to that point where said center line intersects the center line of Segerstrom Avenue; thence northeasterly along the center line of Segerstrom Avenue for a distance of 897.1 feet, more or less; thence southeasterly for a distance of 1,136.4 feet, more or less, to the northerly right of way line of the Pacific Electric Railroad; thence southwesterly along the northerly right of way line of the Pacific Electric Railroad for a distance of 1,534.9 feet, more or less, to the center line of Bristol Street and the point of beginning, is hereby reclassified from the M-1 District to the CR District, and Sectional District Map 25-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 598 A. "SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption. "PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of March, 1967.
