ORDINANCE NS-890 OVERRULING THE DECISION OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AND CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSI- <br />FICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 606, FILED <br />BY MARGERY V. COLE AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT <br />MAP 10-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 606 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 606, filed by <br />MARGERY V. COLE for a change in District classification from the <br />C-2 and R-2 Districts to the M-1 District, and said Commission, by <br />its Resolution 5810, has recommended DENIAL of said reclassification; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require that the property in question be reclassified <br />from the C-2 and R-2 Districts to the M-1 District, except that the <br />southerly 50 feet and the easterly 50 feet of said property should <br />be reclassified to the R-2B District, and further find that the new <br />classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1: Beginning at that point where the center line of Washington <br /> Avenue intersects the center line of Harbor Boulevard; thence <br /> easterly along the center line of Washington Avenue for a distance <br /> of 300 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approxi- <br /> mately parallel to the center line of Harbor Boulevard for a <br /> distance of 330.2 feet, more or less, to the southwest corner of <br /> Parcel 2 hereinbelow described; thence northerly for a distance <br /> of 50 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence <br /> northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br /> of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 280.1 feet, more or less; <br /> thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br /> line of Washington Avenue for a distance of 310.5 feet, more or <br /> less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br /> center line of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 280.1 feet, more <br /> or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br /> center line of Washington Avenue for a distance of 310.5 feet, <br /> more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the C-2 and R-2 Districts to the M-1 <br />District, and Sectional District Map 10-5-10 is hereby amended to <br />show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 606 B. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 2: Beginning at that point where the center line of Washington <br /> Avenue intersects the center line of Harbor Boulevard; thence <br /> easterly along the center line of Washington Avenue for a distance <br /> of 660.5 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approxi- <br /> mately parallel to the center line of Bewley Street for a distance <br /> of 330.2 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; <br /> thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br /> line of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 330.1 feet; thence <br /> westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br /> Washington Avenue for a distance of 50 feet, more or less; thence <br /> southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br /> of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 280.1 feet, more or less; <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
