ORDINANCE NS-896 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENTAPPLICATION 612 FILED BY SOUTHERN <br />SERVICES COMPANY AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT <br />MAP 7-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 612 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 612, filed by <br />SOUTHERN SERVICES COMPANY, for a change in District classification <br />from the R-3 District to the C-2 District, and said Commission, by <br />its Resolution No. 5818, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 612 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the center line of Eastwood Avenue located <br /> 164 feet, more or less, northerly from that point where said center <br /> line intersects the center line of Fourth Street; thence northerly <br /> along the center line of Eastwood Avenue for a distance of 48 feet, <br /> more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel <br /> to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 155 feet, <br /> more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel <br /> to the center line of Eastwood Avenue for a distance of 48 feet, <br /> more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel <br /> to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 155 feet, <br /> more or less, to the center line of Eastwood Avenue and the point <br /> of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the C-2 District, and <br />Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 612 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of October, ~967~ <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
