ORDINANCE NS-905 AMENDING SECTION 3280 OF <br />PART 8, CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE III OF THE SANTA <br />ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO REVISE SPEED LIMITS <br />ON FLOWER STREET, SEGERSTROM AVENUE, EDINGER <br />AVENUE AND EIGHTH STREET <br /> <br /> W}{EREAS, on recommendation of the Director of Public Works <br />the City Council has approved the revision of the speed limits on <br />Flower Street, Segerstrom Avenue, Edinger Avenue, and Eighth Street; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That Section 3280 of Part 8, Chapter 2, Article III <br />of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 3280. Prima Facie Speed Limits Established. <br /> The Department of Public Works, on the basis of an engineering <br />and traffic survey, has determined that in some instances speeds <br />greater than those established by Section 22352 of the Vehicle <br />Code would be reasonable and safe upon certain streets in the City <br />of Santa Ana and would facilitate the orderly movement of vehicular <br />traffic, and in other instances that the prima facie speed limit <br />should be reduced. Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 22357 <br />and 22358 of the vehicle Code prima facie speed limits are estab- <br />lished for the following streets or parts of streets within the <br />City and the Director of Public Works shall cause signs to be <br />erected giving notice thereof: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Speed Limits <br />Miles Per Hour <br /> <br />Bolsa Avenue (First Street) <br />---Harbor Blvd. to the W.
