ORDINANCE NS-906 AMENDING THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL <br />CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 3302 OF CHAPTER 3, <br />ARTICLE III THEP~EOF TO AUTHORIZE THE ESTABLISPREENT <br />OF 24-MINUTE PARKING ZONES IN CENTRAL TRAFFIC <br />DISTRICT "B" <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That Section 3302 of Chapter 3, Article III, of <br />the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 3302. Central Traffic District "B". <br /> <br /> Parking meters may be installed along the curb adjacent to <br />any parking space on any street within Central Traffic District <br />"B". Each such parking meter shall be of such type as to display <br />a signal showing legal parking upon the deposit therein of from <br />one to ten one cent coins or upon the deposit of one or two <br />nickels or five cent coins, lawful money of the United States, <br />for the parking space for which said meter is placed; each such <br />meter shall provide 12 minutes parking upon the deposit of each <br />one cent coin up to and including ten one cent coins, or provide <br />60 minutes parking time upon the deposit cf one five cent coin or <br />nickel, or provide 120 minutes parking upon the deposit of two <br />five cent coins or nickels; and each such meter shall be so <br />arranged that upon the expiration of said parking time it will <br />indicate by the showing of a proper signal that the lawful parking <br />period has expired. <br /> <br /> It is provided, however, that the Council may, by resolution, <br />designate certain parking spaces within Central Traffic District <br />"B" as 24-minute parking spaces, in which event such parking <br />spaces shall be provided with parking meters which shall be <br />limited to the deposit of two coins of one cent value, and which <br />parking meters shall be designated by a sign thereon indicating <br />a maximum time limit of 24 minutes parking. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of December, 1967. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
