ORDINANCE NS-931 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 628 FILED BY C. B. <br />KNICKERBOCKER ANDAMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />7-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 628 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 628, filed by <br />C. B. KNICKERBOCKER for a change in District classification from the <br />R-3 District to the C-5 District, and said Commission, by its Resolution <br />5847, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance <br />with Exhibit AA 628 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />said reclassification on published notice as required by law and does <br />now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare <br />require the following amendment, and that the use under the new <br />classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of Stafford <br />Street intersects the center line of Grand Avenue; thence <br />westerly along the center line of Stafford Street for a <br />distance of 145 feet, more or less; thence northerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of Grand <br />Avenue for a distance of 173.4 feet, more or less; thence <br />easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of Stafford Street for a distance of 145 feet, more or <br />less, to the center line of Grand Avenue; thence southerly <br />along the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of <br />173.4 feet, more or less~ to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />is hereby reclassfied from the R-3 District to the C-5 District, and <br />Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 628 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of August, 1968. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
