Section 12.25. Disposal of Unused Fireworks. <br /> Any fireworks that remain after the p~blic display is <br />concluded shall be immediately disposed of in a way safe <br />for the particular type of fireworks remaining. <br /> <br />Section 12.26. Exceptions. <br /> Nothing in this Article shall be construed to prohibit <br />the use of fireworks by railroads or other transportation <br />agencies for signal purposes or illumination or the sale <br />or use of blank cartridges for a show or theater, or for <br />signal or ceremonial purposes in athletics or sports, or <br />for use by military organizations. <br /> <br />Section 12.27. Seizure of Fireworks. <br /> The Fire Chief shall seize, take, remove, or cause to <br />be removed, at the expense of the owner, all stocks of <br />fireworks offered or exposed for sale, stored, or held in <br />violation of this Article,~ <br /> <br />Section 12.28. Prohibited Areas. <br /> <br /> NO person shall sell, store, display, or discharge <br />any fireworks of any type in any public oil or gasoline <br />station, or on any premises where gasoline or other in- <br />flammable liquids are stored or dispensed. No person <br />shall sell, store, display, or discharge any fireworks of <br />any type in any permanent structure, nor within forty feet <br />(40') of the same, except that any purchaser may discharge <br />fireworks in conformance with these regulations within <br />twenty-five feet (25') of his own residence. <br /> <br />Part 3 - Appendix F <br /> <br />SECTION 3130. Appendix F of the Uniform Fire Code Amended. <br /> <br /> Appendix F of the Uniform Fire Code, adopted in Part 1 <br />of this Chapter, is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />ESTABLISHMENT AND DUTIES OF BUREAU OF FIRE <br />PREVENTION. <br /> <br />aJ <br /> <br />The Uniform Fire Code shall be enforced by <br />the Bureau of Fire Prevention in the Fire <br />Department of the City of Santa Aha which <br />shall be operated under the supervision of <br />the Chief of the Fire Department. <br /> <br />The Fire Marshal in charge of the Bureau <br />of Fire Prevention shall be appointed by <br />the Chief of the Fire Department. <br /> <br />-5- <br /> <br /> <br />
