ORDINANCE NS-945 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMEA~ APPLICkTION NO. 632 INITIATED BY THE SANTA ANA PLANNING COMMISSION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 30-5-9 (EXHIBIT Ak 632 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 632, initiated by the Planning Commission proposing to reclassify from the A-1 District to the M-1 District, and said Commission, by its Resolution 5861, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 632 A; and W~EREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on said reclassification on published notice as required by law and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at that point where the center line of Grand Avenue intersects the center line of Dyer Road; thence northeasterly along the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 336.5 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence northwesterly 30 feet to the northwesterly line of Grand Avenue; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel with the center line of Dyer Road for a distance of 134.7 feet, more or less; thence northerly along the City of Santa Ana boundary line and along a line approximately parallel with the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 1536.47 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel with the center line of Warner Avenue for a distance of 485.7 feet, more or less; thence southerly along the westerly line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 706.87 feet, more or less; thence easterly a distance of 30 feet, more or less, to the center line of Grand Avenue; thence southwesterly along the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 928 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the M-1 District, and Sectional District Map 30-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 632 A. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
