ORDINANCE NS-952 AMENDING ORDINANCE NS-941 TO <br />CORRECT ERRORS CONTAINED THEREIN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance NS-941 was heretofore adopted by this City <br />Council on November 18, 1968, to change district classification on <br />Amendment Application 631 filed by Joseph R. Callens and amending <br />Sectional District Map 36-5-10 (Exhibit AA 631 B); and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, in the enactment of said Ordinance errors occurred <br />requiring an amendment thereto; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That Ordinance NS-941 is hereby amended to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> "WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 631 <br />filed by JOSEPH R. CALLENS proposing to reclassify from the <br />R-1 District to the R-4 District the property hereinbelow <br />described; and said Commission, by its Resolution No. 5860, <br />has recommended DENIAL of said reclassification in accordance <br />with Exhibit AA 631 A: and <br /> <br /> "WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on said reclassification on published notice as required by <br />law and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, <br />and general welfare require that said property be reclassified <br />from the R-1 District to the R-4 District in accordance with <br />Exhibit B of Sectional District Map 36-5-10, and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property; <br /> <br /> "NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> "SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa <br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of Sunflower <br />Avenue intersects the center line of Bristol Street; thence <br />easterly along the center line of Sunflower Avenue for a <br />distance of 637 feet, more or less; thence northeasterly for <br />a distance of 63 feet, more or less, to the northerly boundary <br />line of the Orange County Flood Control District and the TRUE <br />POINT OF BEGINNING; thence westerly along said northerly boundary <br />line of the Orange County Flood Control District for a distance <br />of 80 feet to the easterly boundary line of the Orange County <br />Flood Control District; thence northerly along said easterly <br />boundary of the Orange County Flood Control District for a <br />distance of 1080 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a <br />line approximately parallel to the center line of Sunflower <br />Avenue for a distance of 986.4 feet, more or less; thence <br />southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center <br />line of Bristol Street for a distance 0f 194 feet, more or <br />less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to <br />the center line of Sunflower Street for a distance of 130 feet, <br />more or less; thence southerly for a distance of 30 feet, more <br />or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Sunflower Avenue for a distance of 964.6 <br />feet, more or less, to the westerly boundary line of the <br />Orange County Flood Control District; thence southerly along <br />said westerly boundary line of the Orange County Flood Control <br />District for a distance of 635.6 feet, more or less; thence <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
