ORDINANCE NS-953 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 635 INITIATED BY THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT <br />MAP 12-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 635 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 635, initiated by <br />the Planning Commission for a change in District classification from <br />the P District to the C-4 District, and said Commission has recom- <br />mended, by its Resolution No. 5865, that said reclassification be <br />approved as shown on Exhibit AA 635 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require the following amendmtne and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> sEcTIoN 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of california, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at that point where the center line of Baker Street <br /> intersects the center line of Eighth Street; thence Southerly <br /> along the center line of Baker Street for a distance of 125 feet, <br /> more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately parallel <br /> to the center line of Eighth Street for a distance of 153 feet, <br /> more or less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel <br /> to the center line of Baker Street for a distance of 125 feet, <br /> more or less, to the center line of Eighth Street; thence <br /> easterly along the center line of Eighth Street for a distance of <br /> 153 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the P District to the C-4 District, and <br />Sectional District Map 12-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 635' A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City o~%a <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of Janua~, 19~. ~ <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF OR~ANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
