ORDINANCE NS-964 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 639 INITIATED BY THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL <br />DISTRICT MAP 32-4-9 (EXHIBIT AA 639 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 639, initiated by <br />the Planning Commission for a change in District classification from <br />the A-1 District to the R-1 District, and said Commission has recom- <br />mended, by its Resolution No. 5872, that said reclassification be <br />approved as shown on Exhibit AA 639 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the city of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at that point where the center line of Tustin Avenue <br /> intersects the center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence westerly <br /> along the center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 990 <br /> feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence con- <br /> tinuing along the center line of Fairhaven Avenue in a w~terly <br /> direction for~a distance of 330 feet, more or less; thence <br /> northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br /> of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 660 feet, more or less; thence <br /> easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br /> Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 330 feet, more or less; thence <br /> southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br /> of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 660 feet, more or less, to <br /> the center line of Fairhaven Avenue and the TRUE POINT OF <br /> BEGINNING, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-1 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 32-4-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 639 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect 30 days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the city Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the <br />ATTE S T: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />21st day of April, 1969. <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
