ORDINANCE NS-966 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 641 FILED BY DOUGLAS <br />CORRIGAN AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 36-4-10 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 641 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 641, filed by <br />Douglas Corrigan for a change in District classification from the <br />A-1 District to the R-1 District, and said Commission has recommended, <br />by its Resolution No. 5875, that said reclassification be approved <br />as shown on Exhibit AA 641 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround- <br />ing property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point 30 feet south of the northerly <br />right of way line of West Orange Road and 180 feet west <br />of the center line of Flower Street, thence southerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br />of Flower Street for a distance of 661 feet, more or <br />less, thence westerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the said northerly right of way line of West Orange <br />Road for a distance of 1,146 feet, more or less, to a <br />line parallel with and 30 feet easterly of the westerly <br />line of Westwood Avenue, thence northerly along a line <br />parallel to and 30 feet easterly of the westerly line of <br />Westwood Avenue for a distance of 661 feet more or less, <br />thence along a line approximately parallel to and 30 <br />feet south of the northerly right of way line of West <br />Orange Road for a distance of 1,143 feet, more or less, <br />to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-1 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 36-4-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accirdance with Exhibit AA 641 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of M~y, 1969. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFO~IA ) <br />COUNTY OF O~NGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I. ~LONE, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of <br />the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing ordinance <br />was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the <br />21st day of April, 1969, and was again considered by said Council at <br />its regular meeting held on the 5th day of May, 1969, and was at said <br />meeting passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit: <br /> AYES, COUNCI~EN: Herrin, Brooks, ~rkel, Patterson, Thurman, Villa~ <br /> <br /> NOES, COUNC I~EN: None Griset <br /> ABSENT, COUNCI~EN: None <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
