ORDINANCE NS-967 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 642 FILED BY SANTA ANA <br />PROPERTIES AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 642-B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 642, filed by <br />Santa Ana Properties proposing to reclassify from the R-1 District <br />to the P District the property hereinbelow described; and said <br />Commission, by its Resolution No. 5876 has recommended DENIAL of <br />said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 642-A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on said reclassification on published notice as required by law and <br />does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general <br />welfare require that said property be reclassified from the R-1 <br />District in accordance with Exhibit AA 642-B, and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround- <br />ing property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of california, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of Fourth Street <br />located 1458.4 feet, more or less, westerly from that <br />point where said center line intersects the center line <br />of Tustin Avenue; thence westerly along the center line <br />of Fourth Street for a distance of 491.9 feet, more or <br />less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of <br />916.04 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth <br />Street for a distance of 491.00 feet, more or less; thence <br />southerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 913.54 <br />feet, more or less, to the center line of Fourth Street <br />and the point of beginning. <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the LP District, and <br />Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 642-B. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the city Council of the city of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of Ma y, 1969. <br /> <br />ATT EST: <br /> <br />CeLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
