ORDINANCE NS-984 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 648 FILED BY ALBAN <br />HOLTZ AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 18-5-9 <br />(EXHIBIT AA 648 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 648 filed <br />by ALBAN HOLTZ for a change in District classification from the <br />R-1 District to the R-4 and C-4 Districts, and said Commission, <br />by its Resolution 5893, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassi- <br />fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 648-A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of McFadden Avenue <br />intersects the center line of Standard Avenue; thence southerly <br />along the center line of Standard Avenue for a distance of 595.7 <br />feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence <br />easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br />of McFadden Avenue for a distance of 339.7 feet, more or less; <br />thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Standard Avenue for a distance of 595.7 feet, <br />more or less, to the center line of McFadden Avenue; thence <br />easterly along the center line of McFadden Avenue for a distance <br />of 300.3 feet, more or less, to the westerly right of way line <br />of the Southern Pacific Railway Company; thence southerly along <br />said Southern Pacific Railway Company right of way line for a <br />distance of 875.7 feet, more or less, to the northerly boundary <br />line of an alley; thence westerly along the northerly boundary of <br />said alley for a distance of 640 feet, more or less, to the center <br />line of Standard Avenue; thence northerly along the center line <br />of Standard Avenue for a distance of 280 feet, more or less, to <br />the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-4 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 18-5-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 648 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of McFadden Avenue <br />intersects the center line of Standard Avenue; thence southerly <br />along the center line of Standard Avenue for a distance of 595.7 <br />feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of McFadden Avenue for a distance of <br />approximately 339.7 feet, more or less; thence northerly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of Standard <br />Avenue for a distance of 595.7 feet, more or less, to the center <br />line of McFadden Avenue; thence westerly along the center line <br />of McFadden Avenue for a distance of 339.7 feet, more or less, <br />to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-4 District, <br />Sectional District Map 18-5-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 648 A. <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
