ORDINANCE NS-992 PREZONING AND ESTABLISHING DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 649 <br />FILED BY JOHN ROHRS AND VERA B. ROHRS AND AMENDING <br />SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 5-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 649 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 649 filed <br />by JOHN ROHRS and VERA B. ROHRS proposing to prezone and establish <br />district classification from the County of Orange A-1 District to <br />the City of Santa Ana R-4 District, and said Commission, by its <br />Resolution No. 5899, has recommended APPROVAL of said prezoning <br />and classification in accordance with Exhibit AA 649-A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience <br />and general welfare require the following amendment and that the <br />use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the County of Orange, <br />State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at that point where the center line of Tustin Avenue <br /> intersects the center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence westerly <br /> along the center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of <br /> 80 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence <br /> continuing westerly along the center line of Fairhaven Avenue <br /> for a distance of 910 feet, more or less; thence southerly along <br /> a line approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin <br /> Avenue for a distance of 1053.7 feet, more or less; thence <br /> easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br /> of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 834.6 feet, more or less, <br /> to the center line of Tustin Avenue; thence northerly along the <br /> center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 994.2 feet, more <br /> or less; thence westerly for a distance of 50.00 feet; thence <br /> northwesterly for a distance of 42.8 feet, more or less; thence <br /> northerly for a distance of 30 feet, more or less, to the TRUE <br /> POINT OF BEGINNING, <br /> <br />is hereby prezoned and classified from the County of Orange A-1 <br />District to the City of Santa Ana R-4 District, and Sectional <br />District Map 5-5-9 is hereby amended to show said prezoning and <br />classification in accordance with Exhibit AA 649-A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: This prezoning and classification shall become <br />effective whensoever in the future the hereinabove described property <br />is annexed to the City of Santa Ana, or thirty days from and after <br />the date of the adoption of this Ordinance, whichever shall be the <br />later date. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of December, 1969. <br /> <br />ATTE S T: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
