ORDINANCE NS-993 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 650 FILED BY FRED RUSSELL <br />LEWIS AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9 <br />(EXHIBIT A.A. 650-A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 650, <br />filed by Fred Russell Lewis, proposing to reclassify from the <br />R-1 District to the C-1 and LP Districts the property herein- <br />below described; and said Commission, by its Resolution No. 5900, <br />has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance <br />with Exhibit A.A. 650-A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on said reclassification on published notice as required by law <br />and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require that said property be reclassified from <br />the R-1 District to the C-1 and LP Districts in accordance with <br />Exhibit A.A. 650-A, and that the new classification will not be <br />detrimental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the city of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1: Beginning at that point where the center line <br />of Fourth Street intersects the center line of Tustin <br />Avenue; thence westerly along the center line of Fourth <br />Street for a distance of 975.2 feet, more or less, to the <br />TRUE POIIqT OF BEGINNING; thence southerly, along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue <br />for a distance of 375 feet, more or less; thence easterly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Fourth Street for a distance of 487 feet, more or less; <br />thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to <br />the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 375 <br />feet, more or less, to the center line of Fourth Street; <br />thence westerly along the center line of Fourth Street for <br />a distance of 487 feet, more ~r less, to the TRUE POINT OF <br />BEGINNING, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the LP District, <br />and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 650-A. <br /> <br />PARCEL 2: Beginning at that point where the center line <br />of Fourth Street intersects the center line of Tustin <br />Avenue; thence westerly along the center line of Fourth <br />Street for a distance of 984 feet, more or less; thence <br />southerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 375 feet, <br />more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; said point <br />being also the southwest corner of Parcel 1 above described; <br />thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to <br />the c~nter line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 545 <br />feet, more or less, to the center line of First Street; <br />thence easterly along the center line of First Street for <br />a distance of 487 feet, more or less; thence northerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Tustin Avenue for a distance of 545 feet, more or less, to <br />the southeast corner of Parcel 1 above described; thence <br />westerly along the south line of said Parcel 1 for a dis- <br />tance of 487 feet, more or less, to the southwest corner <br />of said Parcel 1 and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
