ORDINANCE NS-999 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 644 INITIATED BY THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT <br />MAP 1-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 644 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application 644 initiated by <br />the Planning Commission proposing to reclassify from the R-l, R-2, <br />and P Districts to the R-lB, R-2B and PB Districts the property <br />hereinbelow described; and said Commission, by its Resolution <br />No. 5898, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification in <br />accordance with Exhibit AA 644 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on said reclassification on published notice as required by law <br />and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require that said property be reclassified from <br />the R-l, R-2, and P Districts to the R-lB, R-2B, and PB Districts <br />in accordance with Exhibit AA 644 A, and that the new classifications <br />will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of Flower Street <br />intersects the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence <br />northerly along the center line of Flower Street for a distance <br />of 169.5 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; <br />thence continuing northerly along the center line of Flower <br />Street for a distance of 60.5 feet, more or less; thence <br />easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br />of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 212.5 feet, more or less; <br />thence southerly for a distance of 10.5 feet, more or less; <br />thence continuing easterly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of <br />563.8 feet, more or less, to the center line of Greenleaf Street; <br />thence southerly along the center line of Greenleaf Street for <br />a distance of 57.5 feet, more or less, to the center line of an <br />alley; thence westerly along the center line of said alley for <br />a distance of 776.3 feet, more or less, to the center line of <br />Flower Street and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-lB District, <br />and Sectional District Map 1-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 644 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of Ross Street <br />intersects the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence <br />northerly along the center line of Ross Street for a distance <br />of 146 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; <br />thence continuing northerly along the center line of Ross Street <br />for a distance of 80.1 feet, more or less; thence easterly along <br />a line approximately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth <br />Street for a distance of 159.1 feet, more or less; thence <br />southerly for a distance of 29.8 feet, more or less; thence <br />continuing easterly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 180 feet, <br />more or less, to the center line of Jefferson Place; thence <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
