(e) Ail cages in which birds or animals are kept shall <br />be constructed of durable material and in such a manner as <br />to be readily cleaned and disinfected with approved solutions, <br />live steam, or other approved means. <br /> <br /> (f) Cages in veterinary clinics and hospitals shall be <br />similarly designed and constructed and, in addition, each <br />occupied cage shall be cleaned and disinfected at least once <br />each day. Animals receiving medical care and quarantined <br />animals shall not be co-mingled. <br /> <br />Sec. 5-70. Limitations. <br /> (a) No portion of any kennel or veterinary hospital in <br />which animals or birds are kept, caged, or boarded shall be <br />used for human habitation. <br /> (b) Food for human consumption shall not be prepared or <br />served in the same room in which animals or birds are kept, <br />caged, or boarded. <br /> <br />Sec. 5-71.
