4/88 MAP NOT ATTACHED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-1022 PREZONING AND ESTABLISHING <br />DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION <br />658 FILED BY JOHN C. ADAMS AND S. N. GATES AND <br />AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 20-5-9 <br /> (EXHIBIT AA 658A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 658 filed <br />by JOHN C. ADAMS and S. N. GATES proposing to prezone and establish <br />district classification from the County of Orange M-1 District <br />to the City of Santa Ana M-1 District, and said Commission has <br />recommended, by its Resolution No. 5922, that said rezoning and <br />classification be approved as shown on Exhibit AA 658 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the County of Orange, <br />State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point on the southerly boundary line of the <br />city of Santa Ana, said point being 525 feet, more or less, <br />easterly from that point where the center line of Wright Street <br />intersects the center line of Warner Avenue; thence northerly <br />along said boundary for a distance of 32 feet, more or less, to <br />the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence southeasterly along the <br />right of way line of Warner Avenue for a distance of 149 feet, <br />more or less; thence northeasterly along the Newport Freeway <br />right of way for a distance of 1,599.5, more or less; thence <br />northerly for a distance of 75 feet, more or less, to the <br />easterly City Limits of the City of Santa Ana; thence westerly <br />along the southerly City Limits of the City of Santa Ana for a <br />distance of 1,131.7 feet, more or less; thence southerly along <br />a line parallel to the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance <br />of 1,282 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, <br /> <br />is hereby prezoned and classified from the County of Orange M-1 <br />District to the City of Santa Ana M-1 District, and Sectional District <br />Map 20-5-9 is hereby amended to show said prezoning and classification <br />in accordance with Exhibit AA 658 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this prezoning and classification shall be- <br />come effective whensoever in the future the hereinabove described <br />property is annexed to the city of Santa Ana, or thirty days from <br />and after the date of the adoption of this Ordinance, whichever <br />shall be the later date. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of July, 1970. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
