ORDINANCE NS-10~8 REPEALING ORDINANCE NS-1042 <br />PROVIDING FOR UTILITY USER TAX <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That Ordinance NS-1042 is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby adopted as an <br />urgency measure by reason of the fact that the effective date of <br />the utility user tax is November 1, 1970 and this is November 2, <br />1970; and to avoid operation of Ordinance NS-1042 this repeal <br />must be effective forthwith and no collections by utility companies <br />shall be made pursuant to the utility user tax hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana as an emergency measure at its regular meeting held on the <br />2nd day of November, 1970, given first reading and passed to <br />second reading on said date and adopted as a regular ordinance at <br />its regular meeting held on the i6th day of November, 1970. <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL ~ MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
