ORDINANCE NS-960 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 638 INITIATED BY THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT <br />MAP 12-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 638 A) <br /> <br /> WHEP~EAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 638, initiated <br />by the Planning Commission, for a change in District classification <br />from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-4 District, and said <br />Commission has recommended,by its Resolution No. 5870, that said <br />reclassification be approved as shown on Exhibit AA 638 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require the following amendment and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of Baker Street <br />intersects the center line of Eighth Street; thence southerly <br />along the center lin~ of Baker Street for a distance of 125 feet, <br />more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing <br />southerly along the center line of Baker Street for a distance <br />of 216 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approxi- <br />mately parallel to the center line of Eighth Street for a <br />distance of 217 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Baker Street for a <br />distance of 86 feet, more or less; thence east~rl~for a distance <br />of 64 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approxi- <br />mately parallel to the center line of Baker Street for a distance <br />of 130 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approxi- <br />mately parallel to the center line of Eighth Street for a <br />distance of 153 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF <br />BEGINNING, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-4 <br />District, and Sectional District Map 12-5-10 is hereby amended to <br />show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 638 A. <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty <br />days from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of~ <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of A~ri_~l._~ <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF T~ CO~CIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
