Should the Director of Public Works deny an application <br />for a permit or revoke a permit and forfeit any security <br />thereunder, the aggrieved party may appeal to the City <br />Council by filing a Notice of Appeal with the Clerk of <br />the Council. The Clerk shall place the matter on the <br />agenda of the next regularly scheduled meeting if the <br />Notice of Appeal is filed at least ten (10) days prior <br />to said meeting, and in the event it is not, it will <br />then be placed on the agenda of the meeting thereafter. <br /> <br />The City Council may affirm the action of the Director of <br />Public Works, may reverse his action and order reinstate- <br />ment of the permit and bond, or may amend, modify, or <br />alter the action of the Director of Public Works, and may <br />attach to its order such conditions as it feels necessary <br />to protect the interests of the city of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days <br />from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> the City of Santa <br />the 7th day of April, 1969. <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, FLORENCE I.
