EARL <br />CORPORATION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />8-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 668 A) <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 668 filed <br />by O. K. EARL CORPORATION proposing to reclassify from R 1 Dis- <br />trict to LP District and from R 1 District to C-5 District the <br />property hereinbelow described; and said Commission, by its <br />Resolution 5932, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification <br />in accordance with Exhibit AA 668 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on said reclassification on published notice as required by law <br />and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require that said property be reclassified from <br />the R 1 District to the LP District and from the R 1 District to <br />the C 5 District and that the new classification will not be <br />detrimental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa <br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL A <br />Beginning at that point where the center line of Fourth <br />Street intersects the center line of Tustin Avenue; thence <br />westerly along the center line of Fourth Street for a <br />distance of 975.2 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT <br />OF BEGINNING; thence continuing westerly for a distance <br />of 959.8 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line <br />approximatelyparallel to the center line of Mabury Street <br />for a distance of 375 feet, more or less; thence easterly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Fourth Street for a distance of 959.8 feet, more or less; <br />thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to <br />the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 375 feet, <br />more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R 1 District to the L P District, <br />and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said re- <br />classification in accordance with Exhibit AA 668 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa <br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL B <br />Beginning at the southeast corner of Parcel A, herein des- <br />cribed; thence westerly along the southerly line of Parcel A, <br />above described; thence southerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance <br />of 547.5 feet, more or less, to the center line of First <br />Street; thence easterly along the center line of First Street <br />for a distance of 960.5 feet, more or less; thence northerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
