4/88 EXHIBIT NOT ATTACHED ORDINANCE NS-1052 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 662 FIT.F.D BY O. K. EARL CORPORATION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 662 B) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 662 filed by O. K. EARL CORPORATION proposing to reclassify from the R-1 District to the R-4 District the property hereinbelow described; and said Commission, by its Resolution 5935, has recommended DENIAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 662 A; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on said reclassification on published notice as required by law and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that said property be reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-4 District and that the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at that point where the center line of Fruit Street intersects the center line of Mabury Street; thence easterly along the center line of Fruit Street for a distance of 664.6 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing easterly along the center line of Fruit Street for a distance of 335.42 feet, more or less; thence northerly for a distance of 20 feet, more or less; thence northwesterly for a distance of 1314 feet, more or less; thence northerly for a distance of 644.8 feet, more or less; thence southwesterly for a distance of 414 feet, more or less; thence westerly for a distance of 200 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Mabury Street for a distance of 1555.2 feet, more or less; thence easterly for a distance of 534.5 feet, more or less; thence southerly for a distance of 120 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-4 District, and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassification in-accordance with Exhibit AA 662 B. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
