EARL <br />CORPORATION AND A~ENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />8-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 669 B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 669 filed by <br />O. K. EAP~L CORPORATION proposing to reclassify from the R-1 District <br />to the C-5 and R lB Districts the property hereinbelow described; <br />and said Commission, by its Resolution 5939, has recommended <br />APPROVAL of reclassification from the R-1 District to the C-5 <br />District in accordance with Exhibit AA 669 C; and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on said reclassification on published notice as required by law <br />and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require that said~roperty be reclassified from the <br />R-1 District to the C-5, R-lB, and R-4 Districts and that the new <br />classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION,ii: That the real property in the City of Santa <br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: PARCEL 1: <br /> Beginning at that point where the center line of Mabury Street <br /> intersects the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence <br /> southerly along the center line of M a bury Street for a distance <br /> of 541.4 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line <br /> approximately parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street <br /> for a distance of 727.7 feet, more or less; thence northerly <br /> along a line approximately parallel to the center line of <br /> Mabury Street for a distance of 546.1 feet, more or less, to <br /> the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence westerly along <br /> the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 727.7 <br /> feet, more or less, to the point of beginning <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 669 B. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa <br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: PARCEL 2: <br /> Beginning at the southeast corner of Parcel 1, above described; <br /> thence southerly for a distance of 100 feet, more or less; <br /> thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br /> center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 597.7 feet, <br /> more or less; thence northerly for a distance of 100 feet, <br /> more or less; thence easterly for a distance of 597.7 feet, <br /> more or less, to the point of beginning <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-lB District, <br />and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 669 B. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
