4/88 EXHIBIT NOT ATTACHED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-1068 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 679 INITIATED BY THE SANTA <br />AN~ PLANNING COMMISSION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL <br />DISTRICT MAPS 13-5-10 AND 24-5-10 (EXI{IBIT AA 679-B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 679 initiated <br />by the Santa Ana Planning Commission proposing to reclassify from <br />the R-2, R-3, and P Districts to the R-2B, R-3B, and PB Districts <br />the property hereinbelow described; and said Commission by its <br />Resolution 5950, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification <br />in accordance with Exhibit AA 679-B; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on said reclassification on published notice as required by law <br />and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and <br />general welfare require that said property be reclassified from <br />the R-2, R-3, and P Districts to the R-2B, R-3B, and PB Districts, <br />and that the new classifications will not be detrimental to the <br />surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of ~range, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL I <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of <br />Walnut Street and Sycamore Street; thence easterly along <br />the centerline of Walnut Street for a distance of 155 feet, <br />more or less; thence south along a line parallel to the <br />centerline of Sycamore Street for a distance of 1803.6 <br />feet, more or less, to the centerline of Bishop Street; <br />thence westerly along the centerline of Bishop Street <br />155 feet, more or less, to the centerline of Sycamore <br />Street; thence north along the centerline of Sycamore <br />Street 1803.6 feet, more or less, to the centerline of <br />Walnut Street and the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the P District to the P-B District, <br />and Sectional District Map 13-5-10 is hereby amended to show <br />said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 679-B. <br /> <br />PARCEL II <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of <br />Bishop Street and Sycamore Street; thence easterly <br />along the centerline of Bishop Street for a distance <br />of 155 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a <br />line parallel to the centerline of Sycamore Street for <br />a distance of 1316.2 feet, more or less, to the center- <br />line of Cubbon Street; thence westerly along the center- <br />line of Cubbon Street for a distance of 155 feet, more or <br />less, to the centerline of Sycamore Street; thence north <br />along the centerline of Sycamore Street for a distance of <br />1316.2 feet, more or less, to the centerline of Bishop <br />Street and the point of beginning, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the R-3B District, <br />and Sectional District Map 13-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 679-B. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
