4/88 EXHIBIT NOT ATTACHED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-1083 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 683 INITIATED BY THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT <br />MAP 29-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 683 A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 683, initiated <br />by the Planning Commission proposing to reclassify from the A-1 <br />District to the M-1 District the property hereinhelow described; <br />and said Commission, by its Resolution 5959, has recommended <br />APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit <br />AA 683 A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on said reclassification on published notice as required by law <br />and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and <br />general welfare require that said property be reclassified from <br />the A-1 District to the M-1 District, and that the new classi- <br />fication will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa <br />Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of <br />Grand Avenue and Warner Avenue; thence southerly along the <br />center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 1,681.5 feet, <br />more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing <br />southerly along the said center line for a distance of <br />636.7 feet, more or less; thence at right angles southeasterly, <br />30 feet to the northwesterly right of way line of the Newport <br />Freeway; thence northeasterly along said right of way line <br />for a distance of 777.2 feet, more or less; thence westerly, <br />290.6 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the M-1 District, <br />and Sectional District Map 29-5-9 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 683 A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall thke effect thirty <br />days from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of <br /> June , 1971. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
