4/88 EXHIBIT NOT ATTACHED ORDINANCE NS-1090 PREZONING AND ESTABLISHING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 684 FILED BY HILBERT M. MUELLER AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 5-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 684 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 684 filed by HILBERT M. MUELLER proposing to prezone and establish district classification from the County of Orange A-1 District to the City of Santa Ana R-1 District, and said Commission has recommended, by its Resolution No. 5963 that said rezoning and classification be approved as shown on Exhibit AA 684 A; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at that point where the center line of Old Grand Street intersects the center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence southerly along the center line of Old Grand Street for a distance of 113 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing easterly for a distance of 617.8 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Linwood Street for a distance of 242 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 584 feet, more or less; thence continuing westerly to the center line of Old Grand Street for a distance of 40 feet; thence northerly following the center line of Old Grand Street to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, is hereby prezoned and classified from the County of Orange A-1 District to the City of Santa Ana R-1 District, and Sectional District Map 5-5-9 is hereby amended to show said prezoning and classification in accordance with Exhibit AA 684 A. SECTION 2: That this prezoning and classification shall become effective whensoever in the future the hereinabove described property is annexed to the City of Santa Ana, or thirty days from and after the date of the adoption of this Ordinance, whichever shall be the later date.
