4/88 EXHIBIT NOT ATTACHED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-1095 CHANGING ZONING CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 686 FILED BY THE ROBERT H. <br />GRANT CORPORATION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT <br />MAP 25-5-10 (EXHIBIT A.A. 686-A.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has'given notice of and <br />duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 686, filed <br />by the Robert H. Grant Corporation proposing to reclassify from <br />C R District to R 1 District the property hereinbelow described; <br />and said Commission, by its Resolution 5968, has recommended <br />approval of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit <br />A.A. 686-A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing <br />on said reclassification on published notice as required by <br />law, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience <br />and general welfare require that said property be reclassified <br />from the C R District to R 1 District, and that the new classi- <br />fication will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa <br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of the center lines <br />of Columbine Avenue and Sycamore Street; thence <br />easterly along the center line of Columbine Avenue <br />for a distance 130 feet more or less; thence nor- <br />therly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Sycamore Street for a distance of <br />976.05 feet more or less; thence westerly along a <br />line approximately parallel to the center line of <br />Columbine Avenue for a distance of 85.8 feet more <br />or less; thence south 51"16'58" west for an approx- <br />imate distance of 56 feet more or less to the inter- <br />section of the center lines of Alton Avenue and <br />Sycamore Street; thence south along the center line <br />of Sycamore Street for a distance of 946.05 feet <br />more or less to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />is hereby reclassified from the C R District to the R 1 District <br />and Sectional District Map 25-5-10 is hereby amended to show said <br />reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 686-A. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty <br />days from and after the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at is regular meeting held on the 15th day of November , <br />1971. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />- 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
