ORDINANCE NS-1105 CHANGING ZONING CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 694 FILED BY C. B. KNICKERBOCKER, ET AL AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 7-5-9 (EXHIBIT 694-A.) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 694, filed by C. B. Knickerbocker et al proposing to rezone from the P District to the C 2 District the property hereinbelow described; and said Commission, by its Resolution 5977, has recommended approval of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 694-A; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on said reclassification on published notice as required by law, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that said property be rezoned from the P District to the C 2 District, and that the new classification will not be detri- mental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Bush Street and Washington avenue; thence south along the center line of Bush Street for a distance of 480.4 feet more or less to the center line of Eleventh Street; thence west along the centerline of Eleventh Street for a distance of 137 feet more or less; thence north along a line approxi- mately parallel to the center line of Bush Street for a distance of 156 feet more or less to the center line of the alley for a distance of 38 feet more or less; thence north along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bush Street for a distance of 324.4 feet more or less to the center line of Washington Avenue; thence east along the center line of Washington Avenue for a distance of 175 feet more or less to the point of beginning. is hereby reclassified from the P District to the C 2 District and Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- fication in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 694-A. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
